The HACCP LE application by ThermoWorks is designed to facilitate this process by integrating with iOS devices such as iPhones, iPod Touches, and iPads. It works seamlessly with Thermapen® Blue and BlueTherm™ One probes, offering a comprehensive, user-friendly HACCP management system.

The application allows users to establish custom lists for users, checklists, and measurement items. Each item can have predefined high and low temperature thresholds, which enable automated alerts when readings fall outside specified parameters. Users can record temperature data and respond to Yes/No questions efficiently, attaching notes or corrective actions directly within the interface. Completed reports can be exported as PDFs via email or stored in cloud-connected applications for future reference.

Getting Started

1. Download and install the HACCP LE app from the App Store.
2. Navigate to the menu to add users, create checklists, and input items as needed.
3. Configure any desired corrective actions within each checklist.

Measuring Temperatures

1. Select a user, checklist, and item from the home screen.
2. Insert the probe into the medium for measurement.
3. Once the reading stabilizes, press 'Record' or activate the transfer button on the connected device.
4. The app will confirm whether the reading passes or fails based on set thresholds.
5. If the reading passes, the system proceeds automatically to the next item.
6. If it fails and corrective actions are enabled, users will be prompted to select an appropriate corrective measure before retaking the measurement.

Reviewing Recorded Data

Stored readings are accessible via the Reports section in the menu. They are displayed with the latest entries at the top, showing details including item name, date, time, measurement value, and whether it passed or failed. Temperatures outside set limits are highlighted in red. Users can view attached notes and corrective actions by selecting individual entries for further details.

Reporting and Data Exportation

The application permits exporting comprehensive reports through various means:

• Select 'Reports' from the menu.
• Tap 'Export' to choose from options such as 'Export and Delete', 'Export Only', or 'Cancel'.
• Select an app for email delivery or file storage (e.g., iCloud Drive, Google Drive, Dropbox).

The software is compatible with iOS 9.3 and above and functions across iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad platforms. It requires integration with a Thermapen® Blue, BlueTherm™ One, TempTest™ Blue, or DishTemp® Blue thermometer from ThermoWorks® to operate effectively.
